Jessica Jasper-Braley is an associate attorney with the Hartnett Law Group assisting clients with both transactional and litigation matters.

Ms. Jasper’s experience includes advising the Firm’s clients on commercial landlord-tenant law, contract litigation matters, corporate formation, employment law, intellectual property law, public and private work disputes, real property litigation, as well as business transaction matters.

Ms. Jasper is a member of the California State Bar’s Business Law and Litigation groups. She is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Business Law Division and Young Lawyer’s Division.

Prior to joining the Hartnett Law Group, Ms. Jasper served as a law clerk for a firm practicing Administrative Law in Fresno, California where she learned to work with administrative agencies and courts. Ms. Jasper also interned with the Missouri State Public Defender where she represented clients on a range of issues from domestic assault to check fraud. During her third year of law school, Ms. Jasper received a coveted externship with the Dayton Public Defender where she drafted appeals and assisted with trials.

Ms. Jasper received her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio. While there, Ms. Jasper earned a spot on the UDSL Moot Court Team where she competed in the International Trademark Association’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. Two years running Ms. Jasper served as the chair of the Annual Dean’s Classic Softball and Golf Tournament, where she coordinated the weekend’s events with alumni and current students. Ms. Jasper was also a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society, Phi Alpha Delta, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Association. Ms. Jasper participated in the Law & Technology Track where she took classes focusing on Trademark Law, Unfair Competition Law, Copyright Law, License Drafting, and Patent Litigation.

Prior to law school Ms. Jasper attended American University in Washington, D.C. where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Communications. Ms. Jasper is originally from Cary, Illinois, just outside Chicago.
